MALAYALAM CINEMA INDUSTRY
Cinema, the media of the masses, was the brain child of Auguste Lumiere and Louis Lumiere. It conquered the minds of people across the globe. In a small land like Kerala, cinema is the hearthrobe of millions. The dawn of Malayalam Cinema Industry was in the year 1928 with the release of the silent movie "Vigathakumaran", by J.C. Daniel. So Malayalam Cinema is the brain child of J.C. Daniel. Vigathakumaran was followed by Marthandavarma in 1933. The real malayalam movie (or rather 'talkie' ) was "Balan", released in 1938.Since then Malayalam Cinema has gone through many experiments and talents.
